What a weekend
Wow, this weekend has been coming at me full force. First, having Relay for Life at ODU and being there from 4pm-3am the next day - all the dancing and zumba kept me up and I love my awesome sisters! I really feel like we all were able to bond a lot more at the event and we really needed that. I know our sorority’s main focus is service, but I feel like we were only doing that and drifting as sisters.
Last night was the Navy’s 112th Submarine Birthday Ball. I’ve never seen so many sailors in one place - wow. It was a really nice evening, taking lots of photos (unlike at the Christmas party) and drinking a ton of wine. I’m glad I don’t have a hangover today since I’ll be working all day. I wish my BF didn’t have duty today since I really want him to upload photos from the night from his camera.
Today I’m going to be working Crush Fest down in Va Beach - so if you live in the area and are 21 you should totally come out. It’s my first time going, but I hear it’s supposed to be a blast. I have to leave early from that event to go to my sorority meeting since we will be holding elections for the next Executive Board - Really hoping I make MVP (membership/recruitment). Then off I go again to the Bartender’s Ball in Norfolk for work again. I can honestly say that I love my job!
